Simplicity

Native American Summer School ReviewReese-Fawn and Libby were friends. It's ok to be friends with white people.
Peter-I like it when Libby's father wanted to give Sanatuwa land so he could stay with them. It showed that he was generous and thankful to him for saving his daughter.
Jack-It was exciting and scary when the soldiers captured Libby with Fawn's family.
Darlene-It was a great story. I learned that the Potawatomi had to travel a long ways when they were forced from their homes. One soldier said 'Indians should be free just like he was' and he let them go.
Michelle-It was an exciting story to read. I felt sad that the Potawatomi were forced off their land.
Gabrielle-It was exciting when the girl was getting dragged from that soldier. I didn't like the soldiers and felt angry at them.
Frankie-I learned that the Potawatomi got kicked off the land. The white men brought smallpox disease and whiskey to the Indians and tricked them into signing treaties and giving away their land for a little money.
Danielle-I liked learning about what happened to the Potawatomi Indians.
Mandi-I liked the part where Sanatuwa brought Libby back to her parents.
Joseph-I just liked the book because I love reading books.

A Classic!

Excellent Overview of Roman North Africa

Bless Mr. Stone!enthusiast and more casual "fans" who delight in discovering and
exploring the growing (and constantly changing) number of aviation
museums in the U.S.
While the number of such museum's is a "moving target" as some
close and others open and their respective collections tend to
change as airplanes are restored, traded, sold or (unfortunately)
destroyed, Stone does an excellent job of providing the most
current information.
Any guide in this genre is immediately out-of-date but Stone's
book is THE resource for travelers preparing an intinerary.
Not only does he provide the most current (and detailed)listing of each museum's aircraft (and other displays and resources), but he also provides information about their location (including the
exact address), hours of operation, special events, admission fees and telephone numbers.
The conveniently-sized book (suitable for tucking into a backpack, camera bag or carry-on)is illustrated with black and white photos and some listings include maps to assist the visitor.
A true "labor of love", this book is the best available and one
should look forward to all future editions.

Low-fat & low-calorie, easy delicious recipesThe author starts out by explaining the miracle of yogurt cheese & how to make it. She also discusses other ingredients & how to make the recipes even healthier. Nutrition information is provided along with dietetic exchanges.
Recipes include dips, spreads, appetizers, salads, dressings, snacks, chilled soups, & breads. Many varieties of cheesecake, cookies, cakes, pies, puddings, frostings, & fondues are also included.
There are even recipes for many flavors of frozen yogurt that only require a blender. Some of my favorites are the crescents, soft pretzels, & no-cook cucumber soup. I also enjoyed the scrumptious oatmeal kiss cookies.

Historically important and ahead of its timeThe authors take a scholarly and applied approach to the issue of sexual functioning for a wide range of disabilities. I don't think they missed much. The writing is sensitive, thoughtful and very much unlike what one would expect. Since 1974, many other books have been written on disability and sexuality. To my mind, NOT MADE OF STONE remains the best. It is sad that this book is out of print.

A wonderful book on this historic Art Deco jewel.
